Show Topic: We Are Stardust: Understanding the Cosmic Wisdom of Longing and Compassionate Connection, with guest Erin Kroll
“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”
― John Muir
It is not easy to walk the path of Spirit. At times it is downright uncomfortable, lonely, and uncertain. At times, it is pure wilderness. Spiritual wilderness feels so far removed from the ecstatic spiritual experience we long to have daily, but it is a mystical and healing experience in its own right. There are periods of repose and reflection in our lives when we are called to retreat into our personal wilderness, to go deep within the stillness of our sacred space, to sit within the silence, the places of shadow, to access, understand, question and discern. The call to our wilderness is a primordial one. To sink into the stillness of our hearts, to listen only to the authentic voice, to decide where we begin and end, is an undeniable calling. To answer it takes courage, it is not easy wading through the quagmire of doubt and discernment.
At the core, discernment is about personal boundaries and authenticity. When we discern, we make contractual agreements with ourselves that define and solidify our availability and willingness to participate, listen, engage and believe. The process of discernment also connects us with our own truths and personal guidance systems; this is the voice of our intuition. Today in our hyper-connected world we are bombarded by communication and information all the time, there is little respite. It is very difficult to hear ourselves above the noise.
We do not move out into the wilderness with the intention of getting lost, we move for the experience of the unknown, the vastness and possibility that are waiting to receive us. So next time you find yourself questioning all that you know to be true or just seeking some discernment along the way, open your heart to the unknown and relish in the clarity that will come from your slowing down to listen. Happy exploring.

Are you experiencing a tremendous amount of upheaval or shifting in your life? Are new doors opening for you? Often when we experience a sudden and unanticipated life change, we feel overwhelmed by grief, anger, confusion and even resentment. It becomes very hard to see the silver lining, we may even feel hopeless. It is all normal. Something magical happens when we let go of our attachments to the things we can not control, a doorway will appear in between the spaces of shadow, fear and saddness. Walk through it courageously, even if you do not know where it leads.
Let your desires roar off the tip of your tongue. To create, you must ask for what you really want. To really manifest you need to ask aloud. Spirit can not understand the frequency of thought, the sound of your voice, is the perfect frequency to create. So next time you wish or want, do it out loud.
